Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Student Research Assistant to join our Research Team located in Aachen. Position Overview - Tasks & Responsibilities: As an intern you will be a part of our R&D team and support the team in chemical analysis and prototyping of our next generation products. Tasks include but are not limited to: · Support team for internal research program · Planning, design, building and testing of prototypes, documentation, analysis · Working in a chemical lab · Providing support to the team in establishing assay methods · Conduct experiments, collect and document results to statistically analyze and validate parameters of new or modified method/processes. · Support in scouting scientific/technical papers and patents on topics relevant to work · Assistance with maintenance of equipment/devices Qualifications - Education and Experience: · Ongoing university degree with chemical sciences background Qualifications - Skills: · Interest in the areas of product development and medical devices · Fluent in English and German · Strong communication & interpersonal skills · Ability to work in a matrix organization and participate effectively both independently and as part of a team · Capacity to work under strict timelines · Skills design, mechanical testing and validation · Basic statistical knowledge · Basic programming experience in MATLAB and/or Python · Comfortable with reading and reviewing technical documents and drawings Our Offering: · 9 months work experience in an international healthcare company to grow your professional experience, start date 1st July 2025 · Exciting and intensive insight into one of the growing MedTech companies in the world · Great team and excellent sense of belonging · Flexible working conditions with the opportunity of 40% remote work if the job allows · Many attractive benefits to support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
