Position Title: Wi-Fi CoE Research Coop

Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA

 

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS 

Currently a candidate pursuing a Ph.D. or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited U.S. university, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 standard up to IEEE 802.11be Strong programming skills, preferably C++  Strong wireless research background either in MAC or PHY Experience with Wi-Fi system and/or link simulations Familiarity with AI/ML tools is a plus

  Address a technical challenge related to Wi-Fi 8 standardization currently being developed in IEEE 802.11bn or as part of Nokia's Wi-Fi 9 research. Research, develop, and evaluate innovative solutions to advance wireless communication standards  Collaborate closely with and receive mentorship from an experienced researcher and standardization delegate  Contribute to ongoing efforts in shaping the future of Wi-Fi technology through standardization work
