Job DescriptionAt Avery Dennison, we are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our EMEA Treasury team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial risk and cash management and Treasury projects. The Treasury team is aiming to become a world class Treasury function, hence we have an ambitious program of projects for the coming years. The position will offer you broad functional experience within the company and have significant exposure to key leaders in the organization including the European Treasurer and senior members of the European Finance organization. This is a unique opportunity for you if you are looking to grow a solid finance career in a very dynamic company.
As part of our Treasury team, you will support the Treasury team and coordinate with your team and your colleagues on activities such as Cash Management, Liquidity Management, and Cash Flow Forecasting and analysis. For all of these activities, we are continuously seeking to improve our cash management approaches, processes and systems.
You will directly report to our Director Treasury and will work from our European Headquarters (Oegstgeest, the Netherlands).
Core Responsibilities:
As part of our team, this individual will work on activities such as cash and liquidity management, cash generation and usage analysis, and financial modeling and analysis.
⦁ Responsible for various Treasury functions, including but not limited to managing cash & FX settlements, supporting global cash-flow forecasting, and liquidity management.
⦁ Ensure quality and timely reporting of financial transactions and other critical Treasury information.
⦁ Ensure comprehensive and accurate controls and processes.
⦁ Stay abreast of internal and external process improvement opportunities, and seek implementation avenues.
⦁ Perform analysis to support monthly and quarterly closes.
⦁ Contribute to and assist in various Treasury projects as needed, including with other Treasury locations and functions.
What we are looking for in you:
Masters degree in Economics/Finance, with a strong preference for specialization in Finance/Financial Economics or equivalent experience
Proven ability to apply analytical thinking and work with a high level of accuracy
Energetic, proactive and enthusiastic attitude combined with strong self management to meet deadlines and to do what it takes to get the job done
Computer skills and experience in work of applicable computer systems, such as Oracle, HFM and Kyriba
