Job Description
Job Summary:
Reporting to our Transportation Manager- LA, you will analyze transportation data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of transportation operations. You will collaborate with multiple teams and partners to develop and implement transportation strategies that meet our goals.
Main Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Analyze transportation data, including route performance, carrier performance, shipping costs, and inventory levels.Reporting: Create detailed reports and dashboards to communicate main performance metrics and insights to management and team members.Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve transportation routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times while maintaining service quality.Partner with service providers / freight forwarders / industry experts to benchmark and propose enhancements for strategic roadmap.Partner with Sourcing and Planning Department to implement air to ocean mode shifts while driving improved container use.Vendor Management: Evaluate relationships with transportation vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective services.Compliance: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.Technology Use: Use transportation management systems (TMS) and other software tools to improve processes and improve visibility into transportation operations.Cost Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend cost-saving plans, such as consolidation of shipments or mode optimization.Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements and improve programs in transportation operations.Risk Management: Find and address risks related to transportation operations, including disruptions, delays, and supply chain interruptions.Help develop the Transportation Strategy and evolution in close partnership with the Global Transportation leadership team.Leadership:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.5+ years of experience in transportation analysis, logistics, or supply chain management.Proficiency in data analysis and software tools (e.g., Microsoft applications, Cognos, Tableau, and TMS).Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends.Project management experience.Experience working with freight forwarders in air and ocean transportation.What we offer:
