Looking for an experienced Transport Shift Manger to work in a multichamber warehouse in the Transport division.

\n\nTo directly assist Operational Management by managing and generating the shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date performance reports for your deasignated shift\nTo manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while always maintaining standards of excellence\nTo track and trace shipping orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that all legislation and records are maintained and kept at optimum level\nTo monitor recruitment levels and initiate staff training as required, keeping up-to-date records in-line with company policies\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious and practical experience in Transport and people management \nComprehensive knowledge in team's wellbeing, performance and motivation through regular performance dialogues\nPrevious experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders\nComputer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages\nExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage, organise and train direct reports\nKNowldge in Transport legal compliance\n• Transport Certificate of Professional Competence (Desirable)\n\n
