Overview
The Sales Leader, Toxicology (SEA) reports to the Regional Commercial Director Toxicology, APAC and is responsible for the management and development of channels/markets for Abbott’s range of Toxicology products and services throughout Southeast Asia. Territory includes Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia. This includes responsibility for both sales and marketing activities.
Responsibilities
Technical / Operational
Responsible for overall Toxicology sales targets across distributor networks, service provider and direct salesManaging day-to-day operational functions of the Toxicology Business UnitDeveloping a comprehensive understanding of the SEA Toxicology market: Government, Workplace Drug Testing, Clinical and competitor landscape.Formulating and implementing sales and marketing strategies to grow the toxicology business. A key focus will be the introduction of new products into SEA markets.Working closely with the APAC regional team to ensure said strategies, while locally refined, are in line with global strategy / messagingComprehensive distributor management in line with Abbott distributor management requirementsNew Product (specifically oral fluid drug testing) Introduction marketing, sales strategy and implementationInventory management, responsible for the development and management of processes to facilitate both market information and understanding of manufacturing lead times and requirements to support the sales and operations planning process (S&OP)Internal Systems and Processes
Enhance knowledge of Quality SystemsAdherence to company’s reporting deadlines and governance frameworkManage the development of systems and processes that ensure efficient delivery of Toxicology products and services.Customers
Work closely with distributors to identify growth opportunities and market direction and assist clients with the most appropriate solutionsFacilitate relationships with key industry customers and demonstrate the value that Abbott brings beyond a simple vendor exchangeResponsible for overseeing delivery of distributor contracts and agreementsEnsure our partners follow QA/Reg/Branding and volumes specified in said contractsManage Distributor register and biannual / annual reviews
