**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in API Cypress and TypeScript with a preference for experience in Analytics. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment contributing to the success of our projects and the overall company mission. **Responsibilities** + Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various applications. + Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing. + Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies. + Utilize API testing to validate the functionality and performance of web services. + Implement automated testing frameworks using Cypress to streamline the testing process. + Write and maintain test scripts in TypeScript to ensure code quality and coverage. + Identify document and track defects and issues working closely with developers to resolve them. + Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. + Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations. + Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase. + Stay updated with the latest testing tools techniques and best practices to continuously improve the testing process. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation and guidelines. + Support the team in achieving project milestones and deliverables on time. **Qualifications** + Possess strong technical skills in API testing ensuring robust validation of web services. + Have hands-on experience with Cypress for automated testing enhancing test efficiency. + Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript for writing and maintaining test scripts. + Experience in Analytics is a plus providing valuable insights into data-driven testing. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office tasks. + Display strong communication skills to effectively convey test results and recommendations. + Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new testing tools and methodologies. + Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement in the testing process. + Have a solid understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies. + Show capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Exhibit strong organizational skills to document and track testing activities effectively. + Possess a passion for delivering high-quality software products that meet user expectations.
