**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Test Metrics and Reporting Test and Defect Management and Defect Tracking Tools such as JIRA and Tricentis Tosca. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel requirements. **Responsibilities** + Lead the creation and execution of test plans to ensure software quality. + Oversee the development and maintenance of test cases and test scripts. + Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders. + Manage and track defects using tools like JIRA and Tricentis Tosca. + Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects. + Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all software releases. + Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and new functionality. + Participate in requirement reviews to provide input on testability. + Execute automated and manual test cases as needed. + Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements. + Maintain test environments and ensure they are up to date. + Support user acceptance testing and provide necessary documentation. + Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. **Qualifications** + Possess strong experience in Test Metrics and Reporting. + Demonstrate expertise in Test and Defect Management. + Have hands-on experience with Defect Tracking Tools like JIRA and Tricentis Tosca. + Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. + Show proficiency in creating and executing test plans and test cases. + Ability to analyze test results and provide actionable insights. + Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality software. + Ability to work in a hybrid work model and adapt to changing requirements. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues. + Knowledge of regression testing and user acceptance testing. + Commitment to continuous improvement and learning. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. **Certifications Required** Tricentis Tosca Certification AS1 AS2 Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
