Technical Requirements Specification Engineer - Working Student ( Wroclaw)

Position: Technical Requirements Specification Engineer - Working Student
Duration: 12 months (possibility to prolong for the next 12 months)
Location: Poland, Wroclaw
Date: 1.07.2025 - 30.06.2026 (possibility to prolong)
Education Recommendations: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Mathematics and Physics, and other sciences 

We are looking for a working student who will join the Architecture and Specification R&D team at our location in Wroclaw. The working student will be a member of the local specification team. However, the daily work will be performed by the international team of product managers, system and SW architects, technical leaders, and software and integration engineers. Our main activity will be to agree, create, and document requirements and use cases for how  BTS OAM (Base Station Operation and Maintenance) will work. The requirements and use cases are used by software developers to develop BTS OAM system code and by BTS testers to confirm the system behaves as defined in the requirements.

Specification engineer defines requirements in natural language (US English) and uses cases in the form of a UML diagrams.

To prepare the requirements and use cases specification, you will have to follow the existing steps:

Analyze Nokia customers' requirements on how the base station should work Analyze existing requirements and use cases to align new requirements and use cases with the legacy specification. Collect knowledge from system specialists, architects, and technical leaders from various areas (BTSOAM, UPlane, Cplane, RFSW, platform sw etc.) and analyze the collected data Cooperate with testing teams to ensure the specification is testable, Finally, based on collected data and analysis, specify requirements or use cases and organize the specification review to ensure its high quality.
