Job Description

At our facility in Brinny, Co Cork we are looking for a Process Operative Technician to join our shift manufacturing team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

We are searching for an experienced, passionate Process Operative Technician to join our manufacturing team at Brinny. The Process Operative Technician will work within our operations teams to meet production targets, identify and resolve issues in order to allow the site to deliver on our culture that supports Quality, EHS, Learning and Continuous improvement.

The following are examples of the activities required within the role, whereby the person must be flexible to perform all of the following functions and other tasks as needed.

The production of vaccine drug substance on their designated team and will be responsible for the preparation, operation and monitoring of equipment, use of business systems and carrying out tasks including but not limited to the cleaning, operation, in-process testing.The progression of an automated systems using paperless technology in order to generate the drug substance.Setting up the equipment between runs, carrying out the production process according to world class GMP and EHS standards and driving to optimise and improve the processing activities through use of standard work and lean processing techniques.Focusing on delivery to the patient through living the Brinny culture including a commitment to safety, focusing on right first time in everything we do and concentrating on the engagement and development of self and peers.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

Level 6/ Leaving Certificate or equivalent and or relevant work experience is desirablePrior experience in regulated manufacturing environment an advantage.Experience of Bioprocessing an advantage.Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative in a constructive manner.Ability to think logically and be proactive under pressure.Flexible and self-motivated, open to continuous learning and receptive to change.
