About the Opportunity:

We’re seeking a Dispatch Team Leader to lead operations at our Murarrie manufacturing site, supporting our Animal Health Intelligence/Allflex business. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll coordinate a small team, ensuring timely and efficient dispatch of outbound goods while maintaining safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

This is a fantastic opportunity to blend leadership with hands-on involvement. In addition to leading your team, you'll be actively engaged in day-to-day operations and have the chance to learn and implement new systems and processes, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster a strong safety-first cultureLead and coordinate day-to-day dispatch operationsBe hands-on in supporting dispatch tasks and troubleshootingMonitor order flow and export shipmentsApprove freight invoices and manage dispatch documentationCollaborate with internal departments on freight quotes and status updatesManage freight consumables and dispatch system controlsDrive continuous improvement in logistics processesOversee team performance, training, and developmentSupport operational and capital budget planningManage team rosters, leave, and timesheet approvalsConduct annual performance and remuneration reviewsEnsure compliance with Quality and EH&S policiesActively participate in audits and quality investigationsIdentify and implement process improvements across dispatch operations

About You:

You’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, bringing strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

Prior experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role (essential)Strong organisational and logistics skillsHigh-level Microsoft Word and Excel skillsSAP knowledge is ideal, however not essential – we will train the right person!Keen to learn and work with new systems and processesExperience with continuous improvement tools and techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and time managementPhysically capable of manual handling tasksEmotionally intelligent, resilient, and adaptableCollaborative, team-oriented mindsetWillingness to work Saturdays during peak periods (as required)
