Are you a detail-oriented tax professional with a passion for ensuring compliance and optimizing tax processes? Join our dynamic team as a Tax Specialist and make a key impact on our tax operations! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our commitment to meeting state and local tax regulations, helping us stay on top of compliance requirements while optimizing efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

State & Local Tax Compliance: Manage the preparation and filing of various state and local tax returns, including sales tax, personal property tax, and state tax incentives, ensuring all filings are accurate and on time.Audit Support: Assist in researching and supporting state and local tax audits, working closely with tax authorities to resolve any issues and ensure compliance.Collaboration & Guidance: Provide valuable support to districts and business units on a wide range of tax-related matters, helping them navigate complex tax regulations.Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of changing state tax laws, keeping the organization in full compliance and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

What You Bring:
