In this position, you'll be responsible for combining technical knowledge, business acumen and product strategy to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tax compliance changes, filings, and payments; identify, analyze/review, and prioritize pain points and opportunities around policies, people, processes, and the product that drives value to ADP’s clients and shareholders in alignment with the Tax Organization's strategy.

Responsibilities:
Manages all daily activities within the team, ensuring consistent and quality support is provided to all service centers and clients. Manages to the strategic objectives to ensure accuracy and all tax and issues are processed and resolved in a timely, accurate and consistent basis. Creates a high-performance team environment that supports/reinforces associate development and retention. Coaches and develops leaders towards a high performing culture and build bench strength for the future. Drives talent development, associate engagement, and performance management throughout organization in alignment to ADP's Pay for Performance Philosophy. Holds individuals accountable for performance. Responsible for recruitment, selection, hiring, and compensation management. Works directly with clients and business partners on escalated situations that require management level involvement as well as contacts clients to assess their satisfaction with the team's ability to deliver solutions. Leverages relationships and collaborates with clients and business partners to anticipate and address client / business exposures and enhance the client experience. Identifies, prioritizes and mitigates high-level risks, both financial and client. Drive continuous improvement efforts for the organization, to include utilizing the Lean Methodology and Six Sigma programs as required. Drive and implement end to end process excellence initiatives. Determines team and individual training requirements. Ensures that timely and effective training is provided, both formal and on-the-job, to enhance the skill base of the team and overall department. Leads the team in adapting to a changing environment through clear expectation setting and rewards desired behaviors and results. Promote contribution and maintenance of ADP Knowledge and Collaboration platform to team. Track team/individual behavior and usage to increase adoption. Ensure metrics are in place to reward contribution and content creation.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 2 years of proven leadership experience leading associates. Tax Compliance experience Proven ability to lead a virtual maxtrix-managed organization. Skilled at coaching, motivation, feedback, recognition and mentoring to maximize department results. Ability to identify and resolve critical issues High level written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate on all levels including client, associates and senior management Able to see beyond immediate effects when making a decision Excellent organizational interaction skills; ability to manage effectively in high stress situations and environments and keep focus on long term strategic objectives, while meeting or exceeding current responsibilities. Must be willing to work from the San Dimas, CA office; not available for remote.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: Bachelor's degree in Business, Tax, Finance, Accounting or other related field; equivalent in education and experience will be considered.
