The opportunity

This role is responsible for reviewing multi country Corporate/ Group Statutory reporting process including financial statement close processes.

Your key responsibilities

Meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth finalization of books, and statutory reportingPreparing/Reviewing of standardized Group GAAP to Local GAAP bridging adjustments for multi-country engagements within central technologyGain a thorough understanding of business processes and operations adopted by the client to identify their requirements and ensure it is met through regular updates, schedules and reportsAbility to provide timely and comprehensive answers to clients’ queriesWillingness to challenge status quo processes and desire to implement process improvements by providing lean ideas, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls and improve qualityReview financial statements and schedules prepared by the team for accuracy and complianceReview the progress dash board of multi country engagements and conduct review meetings with multiple stakeholdersTo foster working relationships with the team and across departmentsTo provide adequate guidance to the team on technical front and create a value propositionManage additional project-related responsibilities as well as adhoc requests from internal stakeholdersAbility to work independently with minimal supervision

Skills and attributes for success
• 3-6yrs of experience in statutory reporting; 1-2yrs of experience in people management role

• End to end knowledge of accounting principles (Dip in IFRS, US GAAP)

• Experience in Statutory European country GAAPs would be an added advantage

• Working Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/ Oracle experience is preferred)

To qualify for the role you must have

CA/CPA/ACCA with overall 3 - 6 Yrs of experienceCA pursuing/ACCA (at least 10 papers cleared) with 8 years of experienceB.COM/M.COM with overall 5 – 9 Years of experienceFluent in English; knowledge of other foreign languages (French, Spanish, etc.) is an asset;

Must be motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skillsVery good work organization, initiative and commitment
