Supply Chain Planner, Senior

Right now, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team to analyze and drive execution in all aspects of the supply chain, with a focus on materials management, to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will: + Develop and implement supply chain strategies to address capacity issues, production location decisions, and other business growth initiatives + Support business execution of new programs and initiatives, including forecasting and coordination for key events and new project launches + Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and optimize supply chain operations + Lead cross-functional teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives and resolve supply chain issues + Collaborate with internal and external customers to minimize interferences and distractions from impacting work progression + Conduct and coordinate ship walkthroughs to identify and address potential supply chain issues + Develop and recommend changes to workflow processes using Inspection Discrepancy Reports (IDRs) and Conditions Found Reports (CFRs) + Analyze and react to exceptions in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), including Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's Degree in related field of study + 4 years of related work experience in a material and/or supply chain role + Familiarity with the defense industry and regulations, including knowledge of ship repair processes and U.S. Navy or commercial ship repair and modernization contracts + Project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to create presentation materials and deliver presentations to various stakeholders + Strong sense of urgency and follow-through, with the ability to work independently and exercise discretion and judgment **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience working with U.S. Navy or commercial ship repair and modernization contracts + Knowledge of shipboard work control procedures, tag out procedures, and Government Work Authorization Form (WAF) control + Experience with Inspection Discrepancy Reports (IDRs) and Conditions Found Reports (CFRs) **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
