General Summary:

Major Responsibilities Include:

Technology and IoT Market Expert: This individual will gather and update market information from various segments and developers with different experience levels. They will provide feedback to the IoT BU and camera tech team for strategy alignment. Some sample information includes:Identifying players in each IoT camera market segment, their market share, strengths, weaknesses, and levels of differentiation, including pipeline customization, application development, and camera tuning.Collecting Qualcomm customers' pain points.Gathering competitor information, including their strengths, weaknesses, and ecosystem support models.Strategy Support: This role will support the IoT BU and camera tech team in establishing a strategy to support the camera ecosystem. This includes prioritizing activities, identifying resource and platform gaps, and creating a roadmap for expansion and support models.Ecosystem Alignment: This individual will establish strong relationships with ecosystem and supply chain partners to align with market trends and strategy. They will also help partners to grow more value on Snapdragon platforms.Execution Tracking: The individual will track the execution of the strategy by coordinating with stakeholders, publishing dashboards, and managing escalations.

 

Requirements:

BSEE or similar degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics8+ years of experience in the semiconductor space5+ years of experience in image processing technologiesExcellent presentation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 8+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
OR
High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
