The Senior Manager, AUTA role for India supports attraction and hiring efforts for all lines of business at Amazon across efforts span undergraduate non-technical (UGNT), MBA, software development 7 engineer (SDE), technical engineering (Tech non-SDE), science, and data center recruiting across India support from recruiter and recruitment managers. The incumbent will have the end-to-end ownership of the strategy and execution for hiring best students as full-time employees/interns. The primary responsibilities and expectations for this role include: 1) setting strategic direction for student hiring across tracks; 2)leading, managing, coaching, and developing team members to ensure sharing goals are achieved; 3) partnering with key stakeholders (i.e., campus points-of contact, students, recruiting leaders, TA & PXT leaders, bar raisers, business points-of-contact, etc.); and 4) tracking and driving key metrics for all campus and candidate activities (e.g., funnel metrics, conversion rates, offers of acceptance, diversity, school statistics etc.) In addition, the role will also have the responsibility as a Single Threaded Leader to drive engagement with Industry TA leaders and business leaders for the World-Wide Stores and G&A verticals for APJC with a team of Recruitment Business Partners (RBPs).
Leadership principles that are most important for this role are 1) Earn Trust: the leader must earn trust of senior Amazonians (Directors and VPs) by demonstrating a strong understanding of Amazon Leadership Principles and mechanisms. 2) Deliver results: the businesses are actively working on attracting and building Amazon’s employer brand by engaging with students on campus via different engagement opportunities such as campus presentations, competitions etc. 3) Ownership: the person in this role needs to have complete end-to-end ownership, at a strategic, tactical, and operational level.
