General Summary:

About The Role

Do you want to be part of a team that is security focused for building cloud services? We are looking for passionate and skilled software lead to join Qualcomm’s Security cloud group to help build highly scalable and reliable security services in the cloud.

You will be an integral part of the team involved in the design, development, documentation, testing, integration, and debugging issues.

Please note, this is NOT a Cybersecurity position

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related fieldsStrong programming skills in Java/Kotlin/C++/Python5+ years of experience working on cloud technologies on AWS/Azure/GCPExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam player who can function well with minimum supervision and be a good mentor to junior engineers

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

Experience with front-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular.Experience with server-side technologies, web services (REST) and micro-servicesExperience with Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)Experience with relational and/or NoSQL database systems such as Oracle Database, MySQL, Amazon DynamoDBExperience with applied cryptography and secure protocolsExperience with Kotlin and Springboot is a plusSoftware automation experience for testing and deploymentsAttention to detail and follow-through
