The supply chain environmental sustainability program aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in line with VF’s Science Based Targets. It also includes wastewater standards, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and waste management programs to create sustainable ecosystems.
Key Areas of ResponsibilityProgram Implementation and Data Management
Strategy Support: Assist in developing and refining environmental strategies.Roadmap Development: Help create a roadmap to meet 2030 and 2050 emission targets.Higg FEM Adoption: Facilitate the adoption and verification of the Higg Facilities Environment Module (FEM) for suppliers.Data Management: Collect, analyze, and manage Higg FEM data for emissions inventory and compliance audits.Wastewater Program: Support the management of VF’s wastewater program.Internal Coordination: Engage with sourcing teams and country directors on program implementation.Service Providers: Vet and contract service providers for program support.Sustainability Opportunities: Identify and present opportunities to enhance program sustainability.Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
