How you’ll make an impact:
Build more complex prototypes, sub-assemblies, and prepare feasibility test units, samples, and/or chemical solutions. May build packaging prototypes for design feasibility and protocol testing,Support a wider range of engineering activities such as test, modification, fabrication, 3D printing and assembly under minimal supervision of Engineers; and may propose technical solutions. Perform more complex work using drawings, diagrams, written and verbal instructions to perform testing, and trouble-shooting functionsOperate a wider range of lab equipment including set-up, clean-up, break-down, and re-assembly. Perform operational test and identify failure modes on systems and equipment; may propose technical solutionsCollect and document test dataPerform tests, collect, document, analyze test data and provides report out. May initiate ECRs (Engineering Change Request)Develop material characterization library for engineering group.Order and maintain lab supplies and equipmentMaintain lab equipment calibration and preventive maintenance. Troubleshooting as needed.Complete first articles and dimensional inspections and complete IQ processes.Design and build simple fixtures, using sketches, CAD, etc. May create and modify drawings and procedures for fixtures, equipment, products, or processesPerform test method development and validation for equipment and product designsPerforms a wide variety of tasks in support of Engineering activities and other incidental duties as assigned by ManagementWhat you’ll need (Required):
Associate's Degree (Preferred) or equivalent in technical degree/certificate and 2 years R&D Lab and/or medical device experience OR
4 years related experience

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $52,000 to $73,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
