We are looking for high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals to join the Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) Global Ergonomics team. Are you ready to drive high-visibility, strategic, musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risk reduction programs as well as leverage Lean methodologies to lead process improvement initiatives? We are expanding our team and looking for a talented Senior Ergonomist/Principal Program Manager for our ergonomics team which support our businesses across the globe. We are looking for a motivated, organized self-starter to join as a Principal Program Manager to lead the worldwide Ergonomics Center of Excellence (eCoE) Strategy and drive multiple cross-functional Global Ergonomics risk reduction initiatives. In this role you will provide technical expertise by applying a variety of scientific techniques, standardized assessments and problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions for musculoskeletal disorders and optimize performance.
The Principal Program Manager will be part of the global ergonomics team to foster a global ergonomics cross-function stakeholder collaboration and support innovative MSD risk reduction programs for associates across the globe. This Principal Program Manager will be accountable for multiple VP and Director goals, and will need to work closely with senior leaders in WHS as well as key partner organizations (e.g., Operations, ACES, AFT, Finance, Legal and Procurement) to ensure success. The Principal Program Manager will own the eCoE strategy, and build from the ground up what defines Safety Centers of Excellence. How will these principals impact the business, employee, and reduce risk to directly impact the 2025 S-Team Goals of 5.2% MSDRIR Reduction Globally. They will also build and partner with WHS, Engineering, Finance, PMO, to deploy and develop mechanisms of sustainment The Principal Program Manager will help own and launch eCoEs for safety in multiple BUs across the globe. The Principal Program Manager also will support in establishing partnerships and work closely with senior leaders to manage MSD risk reduction projects and programs.

• manage and deliver results on complex projects across multiple organizations.
• map business requirements, understand business process, study and analyze workflows.
• use a variety of ergonomic tools and methods to assess and quantify risk both pre- and post-intervention.
• develop or implement research, investigation, or analysis protocols.
• teach and facilitate training to operations and support teams.
• analyze metrics and behaviors to draw key business insights.
• operate and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• be available to travel up to 50% of the time.
• manage components of the MSD risk reduction projects through visibility across functional partners developing MSD interventions.
• use knowledge and experience in Amazon warehouse operations/industry as well as excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills, to support the Global Ergonomics team.
