Job Description   Location: Apodaca Plant, Mexico

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Cash Applicator to join our dedicated Cash Application Team. In this key role, you will take ownership of the cash application process, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of incoming payments across multiple entities and currencies. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and contribute to overall cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities: Accurately apply incoming payments (ACH, wires, checks, credit cards) to customer accounts in SAP system Review and reconcile unapplied cash and help resolve payment discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and clear payment issues. Maintain detailed records of all transactions and follow internal controls and compliance procedures. Assist in month-end closing activities related to cash application and accounts receivable reporting. Support audit requirements and internal reviews by providing documentation and analysis. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and recommend automation or best practices. Support training or mentoring of junior cash application team members.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment. Education: Secondary education in Economy, International Business, or Accounting. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and banking platforms. High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments and regions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
