**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure IoT Edge and Embedded Systems using C/C++. Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift with no travel required. The candidate will contribute to innovative projects that drive our companys mission and impact society positively. **Responsibilities** + Develop and implement software solutions using Azure IoT Edge and Embedded Systems in C/C++. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop automotive industry applications. + Provide technical expertise in the development and deployment of IoT solutions. + Oversee the integration of embedded systems with cloud platforms. + Ensure the reliability and performance of IoT edge devices. + Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to embedded systems and IoT. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies. + Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis design coding testing and deployment. + Develop and maintain technical documentation for software solutions. + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. + Optimize software performance and ensure scalability of IoT applications. + Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices. **Qualifications** + Possess a strong background in Azure IoT Edge and Embedded Systems using C/C++. + Have experience in the automotive industry which is considered a plus. + Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills. + Show proficiency in software development methodologies and tools. + Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Certifications Required** Azure IoT Developer Specialty Embedded Systems Certification Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
