**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Test Analyst with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Module Testing Test Metrics and Reporting Test and Defect Management Automated Unit Test Integration and White Box Testing. Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required. **Responsibilities** + Conduct thorough module testing to ensure software components meet specified requirements. + Develop and maintain test metrics and reporting to track testing progress and quality. + Manage test and defect processes to ensure efficient identification and resolution of issues. + Implement automated unit test integration to streamline testing processes and improve accuracy. + Perform white box testing to validate internal structures and workings of the software. + Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies. + Provide detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of all functionalities. + Execute test cases and document results to ensure transparency and traceability. + Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams for continuous improvement. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing methodologies. + Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues and suggest improvements. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency. + Support the team in achieving project milestones and deliverables on time. **Qualifications** + Possess strong experience in module testing and automated unit test integration. + Demonstrate proficiency in test metrics and reporting to track and improve testing processes. + Have expertise in test and defect management to ensure efficient issue resolution. + Exhibit skills in white box testing to validate internal software structures. + Experience in the automotive industry is a plus. + Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with day shifts. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. + Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest testing tools and technologies. **Certifications Required** ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Analyst Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
