Our aim is to facilitate the creation of innovative solutions that effectively address crucial unmet medical needs. Our targets are pressing needs in oncology, immunology, and neuroscience, among others. To achieve JJIM R&D goal of increasing the number of internally originated drugs brought to the market, it is necessary to enable expedited exploration of a larger and more diverse molecular space. This can be achieved through the implementation of automation, utilization of novel modalities, profiling approaches, and the application of data science. The success of these endeavors is dependent on the presence of technology platforms that facilitate automated laboratory systems, seamless integration and analysis of generated data, and provide valuable insights and decision-making support to researchers. The Senior Technology Product Manager for **Synthetics Development** will join the R&D Business Technology to support our **Synthetics Development (Small Molecules, Peptides, siRNAs/oligonucleotides)** function within the **Therapeutics Development & Clinical Supply** organization. In this position, you will play a crucial role **modernizing chemistry data management solutions, from lab to decision-making, to provide tools and technologies that expedite the synthesis and formulation of pharmaceuticals, reducing research and development timelines and costs. You will collaborate closely with business partners with a shared goal to develop the best compound and administration vehicle and produce the best product and associated manufacturing process, right first time.** We are looking for a candidate who is bi-lingual in science and IT, **with a strong and demonstrable experience in development chemistry** who can collaborate with business and IT partners to deliver effective scientific IT solutions for our organization. A foundational understanding of the drug discovery process is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess a strong problem-solving mindset, and demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. **Responsibilities** + Responsible to define, scout, implement and champion new data-driven and scientific IT approaches across **Therapeutics Development** globally. + Support cross-site, multi-disciplinary projects with internal and external partners. + Identify and drive opportunities to enable the modernization of modality agnostic decision-making. + Promote the engagement and commitment of team members and ensuring excellent communication between researchers, developers, and suppliers. + Evaluate and communicate the strengths and weaknesses of business processes. Identify new business requirements and develop the business change strategies to address the needs of stakeholders by improving information systems, procedures and championing organizational change. + Support the coordination of external vendors and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted milestone and agreed-upon timelines. + Develop and drive a multi-year strategy + Manage significant operational and capital budgets + Report product status, milestones, risks and mitigations to VPs and above **Qualifications** Required + A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related subject area is required, or demonstrable experience to work with informatics and scientific IT applications in a chemistry-focused space. A master’s degree is preferred. + At least 3 years of experience enabling use, development, and maintenance of IT systems, preferably within the pharmaceutical discovery. + Experience managing **ELN, SDMS, LIMS** etc. is required + Foundational skillset in IT, showcasing proficiency in areas such as database management, data engineering, cloud computing concepts, and IT architecture is preferred + Strong Business Sense & Interpersonal skills. Ability to work with business partners to understand complex business requirements and translate these into technical specifications. + Proven bilingualism in both science and technology. + Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, multiple partners, multi-functional teams, and evolving needs. + Demonstrable ability to influence, negotiate, and build collaborative partnerships and trust across functions. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
