**Date Posted:** 2025-04-17 **Country:** United States of America **Location:** OT381: STH - Honolulu, HI 863 Halekauwila St, Honolulu, HI, 96813 USA **_Would you like to join a truly international, talent driven company that values Safety, Ethics, Quality, Innovation and Employee Opportunity?_** Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Senior Manager, New Equipment and Mod Operations to provide direction, support, and leadership for New Equipment and Modernization Operations. **On a typical day you will:** + Provide on-going training, development, and leadership to the new equipment and Modernization field employees + Provide technical direction to field operations staff and participate in large bids + Responsible for the quality of all new installations for special projects + Investigate and resolve all critical customer issues with the use of Otis and non-Otis products + Report and present on recommendations for all product designs and performance requirements + Monitor field tests as well as first inspection and data reports + Consult with construction superintendents, constructors, adjusters, and Operating Territory managers regarding problems encountered with product performance + Proactively aid the assigned area in regard to the malfunctioning of equipment + Assess patterns of complaints and determine solutions to ensure projects are completed to satisfaction and within reasonable timeframe **What you will need to be successful:** + High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred + 5+ years elevator industry experience required + Management experience required + Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment + Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers + Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities + Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software + Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.
