Sr Engineering Manager- Engineered Fluid Chemistry

As the Sr Engineering Manager - Engineered Fluid Chemistry, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the required quality standards. You will plan, coordinate and control the design and development of new products to meet customer needs, as well as improve the supply chain process to maximize growth and performance. Your role is crucial in guaranteeing continuous innovation of products, services, and work processes.
Key Responsibilities Lead the research, planning and implementation of new programs and protocols for the organization Manage and coordinate activities of new product development and sustaining engineering regarding design, formulation, document control, testing, qualification and manufacturing/sourcing Develop, plan and implement department programs, goals and objectives Support the continuous improvement process throughout the company Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects, progress reports, and staff conferences Manage engineering team operations, set targets, measure and evaluate performance Collaborate with manufacturing on research, design, development of manufacturing processes, production flow, assembly methods and equipment Represent engineering and product development on cross-functional teams Create and maintain the product and technology roadmap in collaboration with Global Product Line Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical) or related field Minimum 12 years of engineering experience Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in a multi-site engineering/manufacturing operation Extensive experience in pressure pumping, drilling fluids or related technologies Experience in new product development, testing, and field trials Experience in planning and execution of projects Experience with mergers, acquisitions and restructuring activities Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. degree in engineering or related field Key Skills Excellent leadership skills to enable effective decision-making and judgement Ability to work effectively across diverse, multicultural and multilingual teams Proven technical problem-solving ability Excellent verbal and written communication and influence skills Ability to work well with all levels of personnel in a team environment Proven innovation and creative thinking skills Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality system requirements Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles and data analysis Proficiency in MS Office tools, Lotus Notes DB, PTC WindChill and JD Edwards OneWorld System Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Decision-making skills and ability to identify and implement improvements Enthusiasm for challenging established practices TravelThis role may require domestic and potentially international travel up to 10-25%.
