How you'll make an impact:
As part of the EIIC leadership team, act as the lead HR strategic thought partner for the SVP, EIIC and participate as a member of the site Leadership Team.
Provide oversight and direction to assigned HR Business Leader Israel staff to ensure talent imperatives and strategic support is provided; develop skills of team and foster strong engagement
Responsible for the development and prioritization of the EIIC Talent & Organizational (T&O) Strategy; prioritize strategic T&O initiatives and implement in partnership with business stakeholders
Anticipate and plan future workforce needs, capabilities, roles and skills; partner with COE colleagues to attract, retain and develop talent
Plan and facilitate organizational design reviews for the EIIC; execute on organization development strategy and outcomes in partnership with business leaders.
Responsible as senior Israel HRBL point of contact for corporate leadership; facilitate collaboration with Israel HRBL community across sites and foster cross-site communication
Provide counsel and guidance on consistency of local policies and practices across Edwards Israel sites and represent needs and local realities of Israel back to US headquarters leaders/stakeholders.
Lead change management efforts; develop change strategy, materials (e.g., comms and training) and implement plans; monitor adoption and adjust as needed.
Engage COEs as thought partners for design and delivery of talent solutions
Act as primary Israel HR liaison for merger and acquisition activities, functional consolidations, or other large HR initiatives
Foster an inclusive, engaged culture and sense of community within the Israel site(s).
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in in related field plus 15 years of previous related human resources experience of progressive HR or relevant consulting experience; or
Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field plus 13 years of previous related human resources experience
Prior people leadership experience
Prior experience leading transformational changes or M&A efforts
Experience working in a matrixed and multi-national environment

Prior experience with developing and implementing HR strategies locally and across the organization including but not limited to managing strategy and critical areas, strategic workforce planning, retention strategies, identifying critical organizational capabilities.
Uses relevant metrics to measure the progress of business unit HR strategies and uses data to aid in decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including building interpersonal relationships, influencing, effective negotiations, conflict management, and consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Recognized as an expert within sub-function(s) and/or area(s) and broader organization including broad-based expertise across area and related functions
Expert knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Expert knowledge of local employment laws
Ability to manage and navigate multiple ongoing issues and complex employee relations matters
Distills complex problems and root causes in a way that can be effectively communicated and understood by stakeholders
Identifies strategic issues and develops strategies to address global trends/issues.
Demonstrates broad thinking on work-related topics; approaching common problems from a variety of angles and willingness to expand upon possible
Understanding of Merger & Acquisition due diligence and integration
Strong project management mindset to organize and progress projects through delivery.
Strong advocate for company culture as well as inclusion and belonging of all employees; drives engagement and promotes community.
