The MENA UFG Team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to build and scale Online Grocery Shopping in a new marketplace as well opening a new channel. You will be responsible for developing products that improve shopping experience for Amazon customers. You will ensure that Amazon delivers a consistent and frictionless shopping experience accelerating growth. The role will be responsible to drive sales from new selection channel of UFG among Prime customers.
As a Sr.PM you will need to dive deep into metrics, run competitive bench marking, research customer experience and understand operational bottlenecks to inform your product strategy.
This role will collaborate with internal customers to build business cases to advocate for new product launches, product improvement , define product design and requirements, own the roadmap for the charter and provide regular business updates.
This position involves regular communication with senior leadership on product design and feasibility, business case, running analysis, project planning
& execution. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities, writing basic SQL queries, a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions to complicated problems and stellar business writing skills. You should be comfortable working both at a strategic level and diving deep into the details to ensure solution feasibility and quality of execution.
Key job responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and implementation of cost-effective solutions for Amazon Grocery Network
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams in operations, technology and planning to define strategic roadmaps while keeping the impact of the solution to all stakeholders in mind
- Creating and implementing data driven improvements that drive customer centric decisions.
- Launch a new channel for the network and drive sales & profitability for the channel.
- Designing and implementing feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes
- Ability to deep dive and do root-cause analysis using data, and create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future
