Berlitz Languages, a leader in language education has an immediate need for a Spanish Instructor. Ideally, the candidate will have a strong background in the Spanish language, with experience teaching adults and children The Instructor teaches the required languages to assigned classes of students and provides student support in accordance with Berlitz's teaching and customer service principles.
Supervisor Role:
4 hours, 4 days per week.
Needs to be available between 2:00-5:00 pm for in person on Monday through Thursday and from 1-4 on Fridays.
Additional hours will be during the day, before class, so she can communicate and confirm with instructors and the school and plan for any emergencies.
Groups from Kinder to 2nd grade and 3rd to 5th grade. We need a teacher who can commit to the program for the whole school year.

This on-site after-school program will start on August - September 2025. The right candidate will have open availability from 2:30pm to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Fridays. Car needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver lessons in-person in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students. Meet with Academic Specialist regularly to participate in lesson evaluation and coaching plans to strengthen teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are met Responsible for keeping student pedagogical and attendance records up to date Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materialsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Teaching experience is required. Instructor candidates must demonstrate a minimum proficiency level of Berlitz Level 7 (equivalent CEF Level B1.3) in target language(s) to teach for Berlitz Exceptional communication skills. Basic administrative skills, and computer knowledge to deliver lessons, and maintain student records.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
SALARY: $35.00 per hour which includes and all preparation and travel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
