As a Sous Chef, you are part of the management team for managing all aspects of the kitchen to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Sous Chef will also be required to ensure that all operational F&B Outlets are carried out properly. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nEnsuring adequate resources are available according to business needs\nManage the provision of food to Food and Beverage outlets and taking action where necessary to ensure compliance with current legislation\nControl costs without compromising standards, improving gross profit margins and other departmental and financial targets\nEnsure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of menu items, special promotions, functions and events\nMaintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas\nEnsure that staffing levels are maintained to cover business demands\nComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation\nEnsure maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues are dealt with in a timely manner\nEnsure food control systems are adhered to so margins are on target\n\nWhat are we looking for?
\nA Sous Chef serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n\nExperience in busy hotel operations\nExperience managing a kitchen and developing chef\nExperience managing food costs\nExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills\nPassionate about food, drink and service\nFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations\n\n\n
