ADP is hiring a Software Compliance Analyst in our Global Procurement Organization. This role involves ensuring our organization’s adherence to open-source software licenses, mitigating legal risks, and promoting best practices in software usage and distribution. It is important for the individual to be self-driven and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the Enterprise. In addition, the analyst must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and collaborative environment while meeting compliance goals and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze open-source and freeware software components to ensure compliance with relevant end user license agreements. Maintain and update a comprehensive inventory of open-source and freeware software used within the organization. Identify potential compliance risk associated with open-source and freeware software. Collaborate with legal and development teams to address and mitigate identified risks. Conduct training sessions for staff on open-source license compliance and best practices. Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with open-source licenses. Prepare and present reports on compliance status to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience is preferred 1-2 years’ experience in Software Asset Management, IT, Procurement, Sourcing, or related environment. Familiarity with open-source software licenses and compliance requirements, is preferred. Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously as well as cross-functionally with other Legal, Product Development, Technical and Financial teams.Certification in software compliance or related area. Experience with compliance audits and reporting.
