**Overview**
_Razorfish has an immediate need for a freelance Social Content Publisher & Community Manager to start ASAP and work on a 6+ month engagement for one of the largest entertainment and media brands. Freelancers will be considered for conversion to fulltime based on performance and budget._
As a Social Content Publisher & Community Manager at Razorfish, you will be joining our 80+ person social discipline within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience practice.
In this role, you will be embedded on-site with our client, a large entertainment brand - working alongside a team of over 25 people who manage organic social marketing for the brand and all its shows. As a Social Content Publisher on the team, you will be fostering and growing a vibrant online community of millions of deeply engaged fans for all the client’s 9+ social channels across Meta Platforms, TikTok, YouTube and X.
This crucial position will play a key role in translating programming strategies into creative ideas, formats, and content plans—with a focus on talent content, launch campaigns, and reactive social storytelling.
You’ll work closely with show marketing leads, editorial, creative production, and talent teams to develop breakthrough social content strategies that elevate new and returning programming across scripted series, unscripted originals, documentaries, and live events.

**Responsibilities**
+ Support social content development and strategy for an entertainment platform —especially during title launches, trailer drops, and major cultural moments
+ Develop content briefs, social calendars, and creative outlines contributing to concepts that are timely, platform-native, and fandom-friendly
+ Coordinate native social content production in collaboration with talent relations and marketing teams
+ Pitch innovative ideas for expanding social promotions across emerging platforms that may go beyond traditional marketing
+ Identify creative opportunities to leverage talent and partners to create moments that will excite and engage our fans and subscribers
+ Monitor social trends and audience behaviors, flagging insights and creative opportunities that align with programming priorities.
+ Assist with copywriting and tone guidance for talent social asks, post captions, and channel-specific messaging.
+ Partner with publishing and production teams to develop scalable content formats, launch moments, reactive campaigns, and fan-first creative.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing, Talent Relations, Programming, Innovation, and Platform to ensure cohesive messaging across touchpoints
+ Review and approve all social assets and post copy, ensuring 100% accuracy prior to publishing
+ Assist in launching new social handles and growing current ones
+ Light community management, interacting with audiences across social accounts, identifying opportunities for cross-pollination of community engagement tactics
+ Be aware and accountable for engagement/growth goals, campaign performance, content reach and optimization strategies
+ Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for occasional nights and weekends to support various initiatives
**Qualifications**
+ 2-4 years of experience in social media, brand marketing, or content strategy, ideally within entertainment, media, or agency settings
+ Strong understanding of social platforms, formats, and fan behavior—especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X
+ Experience developing or managing content development, creative briefs, or production timelines
+ Familiarity with talent workflows and how to tailor content for IP and celebrity-driven campaigns
+ Strategic thinker with a creative POV, trend fluency, and a passion for fandom, storytelling, and culture
+ Familiarity using social media publishing and analytics tools such as ListenFirst, Sprout, Sprinklr, Monday.com, Airtable, Asana, etc.
**Not Needed, But Nice To Have**
+ Prior experience with entertainment brands
+ A knack for writing clever, on-brand social copy
+ Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite
+ Comfort working across multiple stakeholders in fast-paced, campaign-heavy environments

Compensation Range: $34.00 - $44.00 hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
