Position: Server Test and Productization Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Server test and productization specialist to join our team. If you possess a deep understanding of DFX technologies and have experience in NPI and productization of large die, multi-chip solutions using advanced process nodes, we would be pleased to hear from you. This critical role involves taking the product from concept through commercialization to meet customer KPIs for device power, performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of semiconductor technologies for design, test and manufacturing.  Experience with state-of-the-art test technologies to reduce test time and failure rates for datacenter products is highly desired. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for excelling in this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 15 years of experience in semiconductor product developmentOver 10 years of experience in testing and manufacturing SoCs in the semiconductor industryExperience in NPI and productization of one or more SoCsExpert understanding of deep submicron technology nodes and related transistor effectsExpertise in yield analysis and yield improvement features for large die SoCsExpertise in test insertion flows and trade-off analysis between cost and qualityExpertise in analysis of process variation and binning of high-performance server SoCsExperience with 2.5D and 3D chiplet architectures and related test methodologiesSolid understanding of voltage and thermal stress on 100W+ devices5+ years in developing DFT/DFY/DFM architectures for high performance SoCsExperience in qualification of datacenter parts with low SDE rates

Key Responsibilities

Work with chip architects to understand architecture concept and high-level requirementsDefine and document and product test architecture to meet DPM and cost KPIsDefine and document mission profile for reliability analysisCollaborate with Product Test teams to define test insertion flows, fuse requirements including security provisioning, test metrics and support failure analysisPartner with design and technology teams to select technology IPs, optimize timing corners to meet product KPIsParticipate in new product development, comprehend customer technical requirements, develop architectural solutions to meet those requirementsPartner with Product management to converge on product KPIs and collaborate with SoC technology and implementation teams to meet the same

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$233,000.00 - $349,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.  We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).  In addition, our highly competitive benefits package is designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play.
