Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Technical Architect, Architectural Technologist, or Façade Specialist to join our vibrant Architecture Studio in London

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for delivering excellence in design and construction, specifically within the health, aviation, and/or sports entertainment arena.

As part of our growing multidisciplinary team, you will take a lead role in developing and delivering complex architectural packages, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring the highest standards of technical quality on site.

This is a hands-on, ‘sleeves up’ role where you can push boundaries and be BOLD!

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of technical packages at RIBA Stages 4 and 5Provide expert-level Revit modelling and technical detailing in both 2D and 3DDevelop and coordinate architecture specifications in compliance with British StandardsManage constructability and technical resolution on live construction projectsCollaborate directly with contractors, subcontractors, and specialist consultants to ensure practical and robust design solutionsCoordinate work packages across disciplines, managing quality and design intent through to completionMentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing across the studio

About You

A considerable level of relevant industry experience Registered Architect, Architectural Technologist, Façade Architect, or Façade EngineerProven ability to lead projects from technical design through to deliveryDeep understanding of BS standards, building regulations, and detailing best practicesStrong leadership, coordination, and communication skillsA proactive mindset and high level of energy with a solution-oriented approach

Qualifications• Expert level in Revit• Expert level in technical detailing (2D and 3D)• Solid RIBA Stage 4 /5 experience
