Reporting directly to the Manager of Clinical Data & AI, the successful candidate will be a passionate innovator who blends data science technologies with Agile approaches to manage our complex analytics portfolio within the Global Clinical and Medical Affairs division.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data science, training in Agile, and a proven track record in creating and deploying internal ML/automation solutions to enhance data analytics processes. The role involves a significant focus on evolving our Agile methodologies, particularly Scrumban, and leveraging programming skills to build and refine tools that support this evolution.

What will you be doing?
AI Development and Application:
Collaborate with clinical data scientists, biostatisticians, and clinical operations experts to identify use cases for AI in clinical researchAssist in developing AI/ML models for supporting clinical operations, and data analysisPreprocess, clean, and organize clinical datasets for AI applicationsSupport the integration of AI tools into clinical research workflowsCommunication and Testing:
Identify key performance indicators for AI models and evaluate performance in uses cases with a global spanDocument methodologies, workflows, and results to ensure reproducibility and transparencyPresent findings and recommendations to the team and stakeholders clearly and conciselyAdvanced Data Analytics & Project Management:
Track the progress of multiple ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standardsWhat will you need to be successful?
Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master’s, or PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g., data science, computer science, engineering). A relevant graduate degree is preferred.Experience: Exposure to clinical research, medical device development, or health care analytics.Experience in deploying automation or AI/ML models for production use.Languages: Advanced English skills.Knowledge: Proficiency in Python (required), R is a plus.Familiarity with common AI/ML frameworks, e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and LLM’s.Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.Foundational knowledge of statistics is a plus.Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Spotfire, Tableau is a plus.Competences: A knack for innovation and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex business problems.You.
