Senior Software Engineer C++

**Your role:**
+ Cooperate with global team to develop gantry software for CT scanner.
+ Perform the analysis, design, programming, testing, troubleshooting and modifying of software products and/or customer applications on computer based systems
+ Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis in designing assemblers, lines, compilers, and operation systems utilities
+ Determine methods and procedures on new assignments, may provide guidance to other personnel, and participate in planning on larger programs
+ Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
+ Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
+ Resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
+ Act on broadest problem domain (i.e. process, program, personnel, business, etc.) using any and all methods to solve a problem, including using others or finding published solutions
+ Research new technologies and apply this learning to changes and new problems to identify opportunities
+ Demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills
+ Manage and delivers to deadlines, anticipating and acting to avoid problems
+ Excel at providing accurate project/task estimations
+ Works effectively as a leader and/or team member, acting as a role model for junior personnel
+ Mentor/coach many individuals or a team
+ Participate on cross-software unit and/or cross-functional teams
+ Additional duties as assigned.
**You're the right fit if:** (4 x bullets max)
+ Bachelor or Master degree in Computer science/Engineering
+ 6-10 years of professional software engineering experience in a product development environment
+ Object oriented program development experience. Strong C/C++ programming experience on embedded software.
+ Proficient in OOAD, Algorithm, Data Structure, multi-threading concurrent and real time software development;
+ Familiar with RTOS such as VxWorks, Realtime Linux;
+ Familiar with software functional safety design;
+ Familiar with at least one of the source code version control system and code review system;
+ Understand large scale software risk analysis, testing, issue tracking, bug fixing and reliability improvement;
+ Understand the CAN bus communication system and apply it to actual projects
**How we work together**
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
