Senior Service Sales Representative
Medtronic
At Medtronic you can begin a life-long career of exploration and innovation, while helping champion healthcare access and equity for all. You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.
**A Day in the Life**
We’re looking for a motivated and growth-oriented Service Sales Specialist to join our Singapore Service & Repair Commercial team. This is a unique opportunity to manage both service sales and technical equipment sales across Medtronic’s product portfolio and our exclusive distribution lines (Fluke Biomedical and RaySafe).
You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle—from lead generation and customer engagement to closing and revenue conversion. Your focus will be on building long-term trust with hospitals and healthcare providers, driving recurring service revenue, and expanding market presence across strategic customer segments.
This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step up, take full ownership of their accounts, and build a long-term commercial career with one of the world’s leading healthcare companies.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**
_Drive Service Revenue_
+ Manage and grow recurring service contracts across Medtronic’s installed base by partnering closely with hospital Biomedical Engineering departments and the Service Delivery team.
+ Identify opportunities to upgrade or expand coverage and lead service contract drafting in alignment with customer needs and internal stakeholders.
+ Maintain accurate funnel and forecast visibility, with strong ownership of revenue targets and conversion timelines.
_Lead Fluke Biomedical & RaySafe Sales_
+ Own the end-to-end sales process for Fluke and RaySafe product lines, including lead generation, proposal submission, and post-sale support.
+ Respond to tenders and RFQs in partnership with internal stakeholders and procurement teams.
+ Act as the first-level product specialist in the field; technical experts are available for deep product queries, but you are expected to communicate product value confidently and clearly.
_Customer Account Management_
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, driving high-quality, professional interactions with a focus on trust, problem-solving, and responsiveness.
+ Build and maintain customer relationships across biomedical engineering, OEM vendors and distributors, and radiology physicists —ensuring long-term retention and service value delivery.
_Internal Collaboration_
+ Work closely with Field Service Engineers and Depot teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless service execution.
+ Coordinate with the Customer Care team for delivery scheduling, invoicing, and operational support.
+ Collaborate with Medtronic’s equipment sales teams when joint commercial opportunities arise.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ We’re looking for someone who brings energy, maturity, and ambition—not just to do the job, but to grow into something bigger. You may be coming from a sales role and looking to deepen your portfolio, or you may be from a technical background and ready to pivot into a commercial path.
+ This is a role for a self-starter who thrives on independence, embraces challenge, and knows how to build real relationships in a demanding healthcare environment.
+ Ambitious and fast-paced, with a drive to build your career and take on bigger challenges.
+ Grounded and professional—able to communicate clearly, follow through reliably, and build trust through action.
+ Emotionally mature and coachable—with the humility to learn and the resilience to face rejection or complexity with grace.
+ Confident juggling multiple priorities across portfolios, products, and customer types.
+ 5–8 years of experience in sales, service, or technical roles within Singapore’s healthcare industry (medical devices, diagnostics, or hospital-based functions).
+ A university degree is required. A background in engineering, biomedical science, or other technical disciplines is strongly preferred.
+ Experience engaging with hospital procurement, biomedical engineering teams, and RFQ/tender processes.
+ Comfortable with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) and basic sales planning; training will be provided.
