Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.The work model for the role is: OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Service Business Area. You will be mainly accountable for:• Performing medium to highly complex Service tasks like installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits.• Operate independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity.• Operate in different Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end of life service etc.)• Ensuring customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to the customer order and expectation.• Creating and maintaining good relationships with customers and understanding their requirements, identifying new sales opportunities.• Coordinating, preparing and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment is available and ensure the appropriate quality for Service activities.• Preparing all documentation and reports to be signed by the customer representative, reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when required and creating standards or job durations.• Proactively identifying potential equipment failures and potential corrective actions, troubleshooting complex equipment failures and making recommendations to avoid repeat failures in the future.• Proactively identifying suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discussing them with management for changes.• Actively ensuring that the highest HSE practices are maintained, working to eliminate unsafe practices and incidents.• Consistently applying functional processes considering links to other teams.

Qualifications for the role

Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree, in the electrical engineering field – Power. 5+ years plus technical experience in Field Service, Support and Project Execution in Industry. Excellent Fundamental knowledge of Transformers, Drives and Motors. Knowledge on ABB products/systems, service solutions in Drives and Motors.
