**Job Overview**
Independently maintain cell lines, trouble shoot challenges if any and develops new assays. Independently perform, analyze and report routine in-vitro screening according to predefined methodology. Working with moderate supervision to create and develop or enhance bioanalytical methods and in-vitro screens.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support In vitro screening team with quality supplementation of cell lines for their assays.
+ Independently perform routine in-vitro screening assay analyses according to predefined methodology.
+ Ability to perform daily workload review and schedule new in-vitro screens and resolve pending work.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality of services and operational efficiency.
+ Troubleshoot laboratory equipment, complex analytical methods and/or in-vitro screens and impose corrective actions.
+ Ensure quality and timely delivery of screening data to clients. Ability to develop new laboratory procedures and company Standard Practices with guidance from senior laboratory staff.
+ Carry out equipment maintenance and operational verification of laboratory equipment.
+ Conduct and act as a functional resource for laboratory maintenance and service/maintenance of instruments, fault-trace, adjust, calibrate and evaluate the functioning of the equipment.
+ Design, develop, validate, and implement new bioanalytical methods, new technologies, and/or in vitro screens with minimal guidance from senior laboratory staff.
+ Provide oversight/training and guidance to lower level and new staff as required.
**Minimum required education and experience**
+ Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology or related field required
+ 3 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
**Required knowledge, skills and abilities**
+ Knowledge of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, with particular focus on instrument use and maintenance.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Ability to implement good laboratory practices and other standards within area of responsibility.
+ Good documentation skills.
+ Ability to manage and maintain complete and accurate records of experiments.
+ Good organizational skills.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy in work against milestones or goals.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
+ Knowledge and implementation of safe laboratory practices.
+ Knowledge of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, with particular focus on instrument use and maintenance.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Ability to implement good laboratory practices and other standards within area of responsibility.
+ Good documentation skills.
+ ability to manage and maintain complete and accurate records of experiments.
+ Knowledge of technologies for evaluating peptides/ small molecule permeability using cell line such as MDCK, Caco-2 will be preferred.
