About the Project:

Join a dynamic team working on a backend solution written in Scala (with some Python) that processes scheduled and on-demand jobs for user-submitted tasks. The system focuses on job dispatching, data gathering, and relies on an external library for calculations. Our goals are high reliability, top-tier performance, and expanding features to drive business growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Collaborate with experienced developers in a mature process-driven environment; Contribute Scala expertise and functional programming know-how to enhance system reliability and performance; Expand the system's feature set to support higher business volumes.

 

Requirements:

 

Strong proficiency in Scala (at least 3 years of experience) and functional programming concepts; Experience with Akka and Spark frameworks; Intermediate-level proficiency in English (written and spoken); Familiarity with Python and/or finance and banking knowledge – as an advantage.
