Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing costs and contracts for large-scale infrastructure project across the region.

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for infrastructure projectsDevelop and implement cost control systems to monitor project expendituresAnalyze and report on project costs, including forecasting and variance analysisManage the procurement process, including tender documentation and evaluationNegotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliersPrepare and analyze bill of quantities for infrastructure projectsConduct value engineering studies to optimize project costsResolve contractual disputes and claimsProvide expert advice on construction costs and contractual matters to project teamsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project successStay updated on local construction regulations and industry best practices

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fieldProfessional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE)Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure projectsProven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projectsProficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway)Strong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIn-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processesExperience in cost estimation, cost control, and contract administrationFamiliarity with local and international construction standards and regulationsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to travel within the UAE and potentially to other countries in the region
