**Description:**
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines Supply Chain Global Planning are recruiting for a Senior Manager MRP Biotherapeutics Cork. This position will be in Ireland (Ringaskiddy, Cork) and the successful candidate will report to Director Cork Site Planning.
As Planning Manager, you will be leading and developing high performing teams, focused on both personal and organizational growth, mainly responsible for planning activities as they pertain to manufacturing in a modern biotechnology facility with a diverse portfolio of products.
You will be a key leader in the development of plans to support supply/demand scenario analysis, conflict analysis and production schedule business decisions. You will support and champion site and global planning daily performance management processes and leverage a continuous improvement mindset to improve and refine global and site planning related processes and systems.
This role anticipates strong cross functional collaboration, stakeholder management and communication to ensure conformance to the plan, and a willingness to drive continuous improvement for planning, communication, visibility, and timely support of schedule attainment.

**Overview:**
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) organization is responsible for the availability of materials, improve existing and develop new processes to balance service level, inventory and cost for raw materials, and guide the platform in the decision-making process around optimal materials planning. This role collaborates closely with various partners including MPS Managers, Value Chain Leaders (VCLs), Technical Launch Integrators (TLI), Site Leaders, Procurement, Suppliers, Finance, Quality, and Warehousing.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ Material Availability & Inventory Management: Ensure the availability of materials and maintain optimal inventory health.
+ Operational Planning: Be responsible for operational planning aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer needs and inventory objectives while facilitating efficient manufacturing processes.
+ Inventory Target Adherence: Ensure compliance with inventory goals by coordinating various MPS with overall product demand and new product launches.
+ Analysis & Reporting: Create and execute simulations, reports, and presentations to inform management decisions regarding material needs, including forecasting inventory and identifying opportunities for effective inventory management.
+ Service Level Balance: Strive to achieve an optimal balance between service levels, inventory, and costs throughout the network.
+ Address material availability risks within established cross-functional teams.
+ Conduct root cause analyses and evaluate stock-out situations.
+ Raw Material Allocation: Manage the distribution of raw materials across the network.
+ Replenishment Strategies: Define inventory decoupling points and devise replenishment strategies in close collaboration with operations, suppliers, and procurement teams.
+ Assist in initiatives aimed at reducing Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB).
+ Organizational Development: Cultivate an organization that fosters the growth of team capabilities and individual talents to navigate a dynamic business landscape.
+ Process Analysis & Enhancement: Continually assess and improve scheduling processes to optimize workflow and alleviate bottlenecks.
+ Interdepartmental Collaboration: Build strong relationships with departments such as procurement, quality control, and logistics to ensure effective coordination and communication for smooth operations.
+ Utilize MRP process maturity to optimize material requirements planning and transform it into a product-based API platform process and supplier-based process.
+ Supplier Collaboration Accountability: Oversee the collaboration with suppliers and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process from a planning perspective.
+ Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation: Lead advancements in the continuous improvement and digital transformation of the Material Planning process.

**Qualifications**
+ A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. An advanced degree is preferred
+ A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant supply chain experience is required
+ Experience in people leadership in a diverse environment is required.
+ Supply chain planning experience is required, preferably in a multi-echelon supply chain
+ Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience is required
+ Experience working across organizational boundaries in a global environment is required
+ Supply Chain certifications (APICS / IBF) and Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications are desirable
+ SAP experience is required
+ Demonstrated experience with several of the following processes: inventory management and inventory entitlement, supply chain management, supply planning/master production scheduling, scenario analysis, IBP, process excellence (Lean, 6sigma), and systems (SAP R/3, APO, BW, OMP)
+ Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist
+ Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels
+ Utilizes business and financial acumen to influence E2E decisions & key outcomes.
+ Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex scenarios to senior leadership with minimal guidance.
+ High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint)
+ This position may require up to 10% of domestic and international travel
