The Opportunity
Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for the treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.
The position of Sr. Manager, Commercial Excellence, Government Services, is within our Toxicology business Unit. The position is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers while ensuring that customer needs, and company objectives are effectively met.
What You’ll Work On
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, particularly within large federal, state, and county-level government agencies.
Lead, mentor, and manage high-performing sales and service teams.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to uncover new business opportunities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the customer journey and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Set and monitor sales targets, providing regular performance updates.
Represent the company at industry events and networking functions to expand our reach.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven success in sales and business development with strong selling and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify, engage, and influence key stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing sales and service teams.
A growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
A customer-first approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with government agencies and knowledge of government procurement processes.
Minimum 5 years of sales management experience.
Minimum 7 years of direct sales experience.

The base pay for this position is $127,300.00 – $254,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
