This is a hybrid in-person role with a preferred location of Spring House, PA. Consideration will be given to the Raritan, NJ; Titusville, NJ and Horsham, PA office locations. Purpose: This role supports the Global Immunology R&D and Global Commercial teams, supporting pipeline and in-market product initiatives for the dynamic and growing Immunology therapeutic area, with a focus on treatments to combat autoantibody diseases. You will work with colleagues across the company to plan and implement external communication and activation strategies for the Autoantibody DAS with a focus on rare neuromuscular, hematologic, and rheumatic autoantibody diseases and maternal fetal alloantibody diseases. The Senior Manager will report to the Global Communications Leader, Autoantibody Portfolio and provide communications to support the Immunology therapeutic areas. The position requires a creative problem solver who leads efforts to strengthen our reputation as a global health innovator, working with cross-functional partners, including senior leaders in the R&D, Global Commercial Strategy, Supply Chain, Investor Relations, Business Development, and Global Reputation and Engagement organizations. You will be responsible for: _External Communications_ Support global communications, public affairs and market shaping initiatives for the autoantibody portfolio, articulating a clear strategy and messaging in support of the business priorities today and for future launches. Key efforts include distilling scientific data and strategies into compelling messages for press releases, key messages, social media content, etc., as well as planning, tactical execution across multiple channels (earned, owned, paid). Lead advocacy communications across the Autoantibody Portfolio with a passion for those living with allo- and autoantibody diseases, partnering with our Global Advocacy leads and leading communications strategies for the Autoantibody Connections online health advocate (OHA) group comprised of people living with autoantibody diseases Johnson & Johnson is studying in this space. Serve as a valued counselor to a team of leaders across R&D, Global Commercial Strategy, Supply Chain, and Finance to connect business objectives with communications outcomes, demonstrating the ability to lead budgets and timelines, and navigate adjustments when required. Proactively get results across earned and paid media and social media channels; with expertise in and ability to handle issues as needed. Lead online clinical trial recruitment efforts on Global social media channels of rare and high-priority autoantibody portfolio clinical studies working closely with cross-functional and international teams to deliver impact and results. _Executive Thought Leadership and Internal Communications_ Mentor and support the curation of social media presence for select autoantibody leaders to communicate the autoantibody story across relevant specialties. Drive employee engagement through internal communication of data generated from autoantibody asset trials, regulatory landmarks and allo- and autoantibody disease awareness initiatives, always leading with a One Team attitude and measuring outcomes and impact. _J&J Immunology Reputation and GCA Partnership_ Champion J&J reputation as the global leader in allo- and autoantibody disease, supporting above-brand content strategies to differentiate from key competitor set. Collaborate with regional and enterprise partners to forge new opportunities and support strategies that support strategic imperatives. Qualifications/Requirements + Bachelor’s or advanced degree + Minimum of eight (8) years of experience leading communication in a pharmaceutical company, or public relations agency + Strong patient advocacy and social media experience with a knowledge of the international regulatory environment + Outstanding written, oral and visual communications with a focus on Smart Brevity + Teammate, open and transparent communicator + Proven ability to build deep, authentic, successful relationships with top executives and scientists and strong influence with senior internal and external partners + Global mentality and successful track record of working in a global or regional function, with experience implementing international projects + Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix environment + Outstanding attention to detail as well as writing and interpersonal skills + Reliable and efficient project execution and strong organizer, analytical skills Other: + Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
