**Job Summary** We are seeking a Sr. Product Specialist (T) with 5 to 9 years of experience in OmniVBA VSAM COBOL Mainframe Unix Shell Scripting OmniStation Omni Script and OmniPlus. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Life and Annuities Insurance. This hybrid role requires a day shift and does not require travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our product offerings and ensuring seamless integration with our systems. **Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain applications using OmniVBA VSAM COBOL and Mainframe technologies. + Oversee the integration of OmniStation Omni Script and OmniPlus with existing systems. + Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to Unix Shell Scripting. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with business goals. + Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. + Implement enhancements and updates to existing applications based on user feedback and business requirements. + Monitor system performance and optimize applications for maximum efficiency. + Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications. + Participate in requirement gathering sessions and provide technical insights. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations particularly in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. + Provide training and support to junior team members as needed. + Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest technological advancements. + Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs. **Qualifications** + Possess strong technical skills in OmniVBA VSAM COBOL Mainframe Unix Shell Scripting OmniStation Omni Script and OmniPlus. + Demonstrate domain expertise in Life and Annuities Insurance. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Show proficiency in technical documentation and code review processes. + Display strong collaboration and communication skills. + Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends. + Be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
