WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provides financial planning and analysis to support the Marketing department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial insights, optimizing profitability, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position requires a blend of financial expertise, data analysis, and an understanding of restaurant operations. The position will be focused on providing analytical support to inform various marketing, menu and promotional strategies.Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets, including sales trends and profitability metrics.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as menu mix, promotional analysis and traffic trends.Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with key business partners in marketing, menu strategy and operations.Variance Analysis: Conduct weekly/monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance to budgets/forecasts, providing actionable insightsPromotional Impact: Evaluate promotional tactics to drive optimal strategies on types of promotions, spend on promotions and channels to utilize promotions.Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support leadership with custom financial analyses, scenario planning, and investment decisions.Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial reporting tools, dashboards, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field and 3-5 years accounting or finance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge and Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to quickly create financial modelsExperience with BI Tools, preferably TableauStrong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business recommendationsComfortable presenting to senior leadership, including C-suiteAbility to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organizationCurious mind that leads to wanting to understand the Why behind financial resultsDesire to automate routine work and focus on providing analysis and insightsSelf-starter that can identify and anticipate the needs of the businessSQL experience preferredRestaurant industry experience preferred
