Job Summary:

The Senior Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for curating content for a wide variety of products on GameStop’s digital channels. This role involves managing the creation, distribution, and upkeep of content to ensure it is consistent, accurate, and adheres to SEO best practices. The Product Content Coordinator collaborates with multiple teams to ensure the quality of content aligns with eCommerce strategies and objectives.

This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, Tx

 

Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and curate content for various products on the website (product content, metadata, digital assets, etc.). Develop and manage content calendars, schedule content for publication, and maintain content catalog. Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Design) to ensure that product listings are optimized, discoverable, and support brand initiatives.Ensure content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and adheres to best practices. Track content performance metrics, analyze results, and provide reports to stakeholders. Ensure content created for the website is distributed across the appropriate channels (website, social media, email, etc.). Stay up-to-date on industry trends and identify content opportunities. Contribute to the development of overall content strategies and performance goals. Manage content projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines are met Track and administer requests for content updates, removals, publications, lifecycle status, and other duties related to e-Commerce.Monitor and maintain catalog reports to ensure data is accurate and consistent with web standards.Proactively audit the website to ensure that information is accurate, content is current, and pages are free of errors.Work with relevant IT teams to communicate any system bugs and issues.

 

Qualifications:

5+ years' experience creating, editing, and curating content for various products on websitesBachelor’s degree or related work experienceExcellent written and editing skillsProficient in Excel, Outlook, and Word Must be highly organized and proactive with a strong attention to detail Must have effective time and project management skillsProficient in content management systems (CMS) such as Salesforce.Knowledge of SEO best practices and social media marketing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with analytics tools such as Google AnalyticsKnowledge of Google Search Console and Google Merchant CenterProficient in photo and video editing
