Summary:
Working independently, the Senior Counsel will provide legal guidance on a wide range of litigation and employment related issues for the Company. Principal outcomes include ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, and advising the Company on legal rights and duties.
This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.
Responsibilities:
Manage ongoing litigation, including employment, real estate and commercial litigation.Counsel on employment and compensation related matters, including hiring, discipline, accommodations and leaves, and serve as a liason to the human resources department.Support the development of organizational policies, procedures and business strategies.Effectively leverage outside law firm attorneys and manage relationships with external legal affiliates.Provide advice regarding compliance with various laws and regulations, including wage and hour and employment practices laws.Supporting the Company in its compliance program, including maintain the Company’s Code of Ethics and Whistleblower Hotline.Assist with the negotiation and evaluation of a wide variety of commercial contractsManaging additional legal projects as needed.Related Competencies:

Doctorate of Jurisprudence from an accredited program requiredLicensed to practice law in at least one stateA minimum of five years of relevant experience.
