In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. As the Senior Contract Coordinator, you'll have the chance to work cross-functionally to facilitate contracting with health care providers (HCP) to support the organization's operational needs. Perform a variety of specialized contract management activities to ensure the organization's agreements are legally sound, protect its business interests, and comply with all relevant laws and regulations. **What You’ll Work On** + Provide contract management advice within area of expertise to area managers to ensure their activities, policies, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations. + Work with health care provider (HCP) organizations to facilitate contracts for services, maintain compliance with needs assessments, handle contract payments, and maintain good documentation practices. + Review contract analyses and technical reports. Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality in deliverables. + Make recommendations to senior management on how to respond to contract issues or proposed changes in laws and regulations. + Review and approve contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (e.g., loans, leases, purchase agreements, acquisitions, divestitures, employment contracts) to protect the organization's legal and business interests. + Represent the organization in complex, controversial, significant, or specialized contract negotiations and compliance for contacting regulations both nationally and internationally. + Work cross-functionally to coordinate good contracting practices within product development. Foster a collaborative work environment by actively participating in team discussions, sharing ideas, and supporting colleagues to achieve common objectives. + Work closely with legal and regulatory functions to maintain visibility of HCP engagement. + Prepare or review more complex materials for external legal counsel. + Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and progress. + Coach less experienced contract management staff and help them resolve problems. **Required Qualifications** + 3-5 years’ experience. + Bachelors in related field of study. **Preferred Qualifications** + Paralegal background.
